The idea of an online Resident Evil game was already born back in 2000. It was planned that RE4 will be playable online. Later on though, Capcom decided to make a seperate online RE game called, Biohazard Outbreak.

The action takes place somewhen in the time of RE2 and RE3. Raccoon City inhabitants are sitting at J's Bar when they hear windows crashing. Mutated humans were crawling through the windows, hunting for human flesh. You are in a group of people and from now on, this is your team and you have to get out of this mess as soon as possible.

Play as one of the eight survivors, each character having different strengths, speed and unique abilities dependant on their profession.

Master the cooperative gameplay and combine efforts with other characters to succeed against overwhelming odds.

Five different chapters, each huge in size, violently different from the other and filled with a new breed of murderous zombie.

Huge, detailed 3D environments and a new control method allow for more freedom within the game

Together they must find a way out before the government resorts to the only option left: firing a missile into the city to destroy all traces of the virus.
