Resident Evil: Apocalypse is the sequel for the Resident Evil Movie released in 2002. It continues straight from where the story was left in the first movie – Alice and Matt were about to escape but then Matt started having a seizure after being struck in the arm by the mutated Licker. Alice was about to administer the anti-virus but a group of sterile-suit clad Umbrella scientists raided the place and took Matt in custody for the “Nemesis”- program and took Alice with them as well.

Alice wakes up on an operating table, full of wires and tubes. Umbrella had conducting experiments on her, altering her somehow. She makes her way out of the lab only to find the whole city in ruins. “The Dead Walk” say the newspapers.

Apocalypse introduces two characters which fans of the games are pretty familiar with, the first is Jill Valentine, the Raccoon Police Department S.T.A.R.S- member and the latin Umbrella bounty Hunter Carlos Oliveira.

This time the whole city gets infected and Umbrella seals the city and prepares to wipe it’s trails completely with the help of a nuke. Alice and the rest of the group is also being stalked by Umbrella’s latest bio-weapon known as the Nemesis, a ruthless killing machine that never gives up on it’s prey.
